Neem trees are attractive broad-leaved evergreens that can grow up to 30 m tall and 2.5 m in girth. Their spreading branches form rounded crowns as much as 20 m across.
The small, white, bisexual flowers are borne in axillary clusters. They have a honey like scent and attract many bees.

D)Intake recipes
LEAF PASTE
1) Take some fresh leaves of neem and wash them with water properly.
2) Place the washed leaves over the sil-batta (Grinding stones).
3) Make a fine paste of leaves, by adding few drops of water to it.
4) Make a smooth paste having fine consistency for its local application.
5) Collect the paste into a bowl.
6) Neem paste is ready.
BARK POWDER
1) Collect some fresh bark pieces from a healthy neem tree(free from infections).
2) Wash the bark pieces with water properly and spread them over a plate.
3) Dry them under the sunlight or in shadow.
4) When barks are completely dried, then add them all into a grinder.
5) Grind them to make its fine powder.
6) Sieve the powder through a clean cotton cloth.
7) Neem bark powder is ready.
E)Doses
Bark powder :- 1-2 gm
Seed oil :- 4-10 drops
Leaf paste :- Local application
F)Indications
1) Neem leaf juice + Madhu - Kamala(jaundice)
2) Neemleaf churna+ Haritaki churna + Aamlaki churna - Leprosy(taken for 1 month).
3) Neem seed oil - Gandamala, Greying and falling of hair(taken as a nasya).
4) Paste of Neem + Shunthi + Sandhav namak-Eyes related disorders like swelling, pain & itching.
5) Paste of Neem leaf - Burning (L/A)
6) Churna of Neem + Hingu + Vidang + Yavani-Intestinal worm infestation
